“Beware the barrenness of a busy life”
Thanks Socrates, you are right! Making time for ourselves to relax and unwind is important. Bakooking* can feel like such a laborious chore after a long day at work and some of us gave up but the days of slaving around in a kitchen are counted.
* bakooking: a combination between baking and cooking. When you are unable to decide if you are cooking or baking. You are welcome!
When I switched to Paleo two years ago, I was worried this way of eating, all from scratch, would take up too much of my (precious) free time.
I could not have been more wrong. It is actually amazing how many delicious, healthy and easy to make recipes can be found on the net. Thanks to them, I can still bakook after work and find time to put my feet up with a good book before bedtime.
I especially love those cauliflower muffins, because they can be eaten either cold or warm, either as a snack or with a salad. This summer, I took some with us on an adventurous day in Tessin and they were a perfect savory treat for the whole family.
Thanks to #delightedmomma for this exciting recipe featuring cauliflower!
